RANGELY, CO - Exciting progress continues at Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC), where the Bud Striegel Family Soccer Field just received another major upgrade—a brand-new scoreboard now standing proudly in the southwest corner of the complex.

The addition is the latest investment in what has quickly become one of the most scenic and functional soccer venues in the Scenic West Athletic Conference. Paired with the beautiful turf field and mountain backdrop, the new scoreboard enhances the game day atmosphere for players, coaches, and fans alike.

"This is another big step forward for CNCC Athletics," said Athletic Director Zach Stevenson. "We want to continue raising the bar in everything we do—from facilities to programming to the student-athlete experience. This scoreboard is symbolic of that growth."

The Bud Striegel Family Soccer Field has been a centerpiece of CNCC's recent athletic transformation. Since opening the field in 2024, the college has welcomed competitive home matches, community engagement events, and the rise of both men's and women's soccer programs.

As the programs continue to grow, the commitment to improving facilities and resources remains a top priority.

"We're building something special here," Stevenson added. "Our student-athletes deserve the best, and that's what we're working toward every day. Whether it's adding a scoreboard, renovating a gym floor, or supporting our coaches and staff—every step matters."
