7/10/2025 10:00:00 AM

RANGELY, Colo. – Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) Volleyball has officially released its 2025 schedule, and fans can expect an exciting mix of preseason tournaments, fierce conference showdowns, and marquee home events inside Hefley Arena this fall.

Head Coach Casey Quiggle, entering his second season at the helm, has built a strong early foundation and now looks to lead the Spartans into a competitive Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) campaign with confidence and momentum.

Tournaments, Tests, and Tune-Ups

The Spartans will open the 2025 season on the road at Gillette College on August 28, at the Gillette College Labor Day Tournament. That will be followed by preseason tournaments over the next several weekends including the Yavapai College Tournament, the Central Wyoming College Tournament, and the WyoBraska Tournament. The exact matchups for several of these early tournament games remain TBD, with schedules to be finalized by host sites in the coming weeks.

"This preseason will give us a great opportunity to test ourselves against some high-quality opponents and build chemistry heading into conference play," said Coach Quiggle. "We're excited for the challenge."

Home Opener + Homecoming Weekend

The 2025 SWAC opener will be a can't-miss event, as CNCC returns home to host Utah State University Eastern on Friday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. The match will serve as part of the college's Second Annual Homecoming Weekend, bringing together CNCC students, alumni, and the Rangely community for a spirited celebration of Spartan pride.

The Spartans will also welcome Snow College the following day, Saturday, September 27 at 1:00 p.m., for another critical conference clash.
