RANGELY, Colo. (March 20, 2021) – A Scenic West Athletic Conference road game did not go the way of the Colorado Northwestern Community College women's basketball team Saturday.
The Lady Spartans dropped a 77-41 game with the College of Southern Idaho, falling to 4-13 overall and 2-11 in Scenic West play. CNCC is now on a six-game losing streak.
CNCC trailed early and never found sustained momentum in the loss, trailing 45-19 at halftime. Southern Idaho also took advantage of a 25-4 scoring edge in points-off-turnovers.
Cameron Tsosie was CNCC's lone double-digit scorer with 13 points.
Kalee McEwan also scored 7 points.
Colorado Northwestern will return home to the friendly confines of Hefley Gym Wednesday, playing Snow College on 'Sophomore Day'. The Lady Spartans will close their regular-season games next Saturday at Southern Nevada.
