RANGELY, Colo. (March 13, 2021) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College women's basketball team finished with a loss in a Scenic West Athletic Conference road game Saturday. 

The Lady Spartans lost an 89-61 game at USU Eastern, falling behind early and struggling to recover. The loss drops Colorado Northwestern to 4-11 overall and 2-9 in the Scenic West.

Colorado Northwestern trailed 27-13 at the end of the first quarter, with USU Eastern leading 48-24 at halftime. USU Eastern controlled the game in the paint, outscoring CNCC by a margin of 54-22.

CNCC will return to the court at home next week, facing off against Salt Lake Community College on Thursday.
