RANGELY, Colo. (March 12, 2021) - A halftime deficit proved to be a hill the Colorado Northwestern Community College women's basketball team couldn't surmount in a Scenic West Athletic Conference loss Thursday.
The Lady Spartans fell in a 95-66 decision with the College of Southern Idaho, trailing 25-14 after the end of the first quarter and struggling to gain momentum from there. The loss drops CNCC to 4-10 overall and 2-8 in league play.
Courtney Freeman finished with 24 points to lead CNCC, while
McKleigh Begaye scored 13 points.
Aiesha Feagins scored 10 points off the bench for the Lady Spartans.
CNCC will travel for a road game at USU Eastern Saturday.Â
