Lady Spartans suffer defeat to Western Wyoming

Rock Springs, WY (02/15/21) – CNCC would have another loss mount in a non-region matchup against Western Wyoming CC on Monday night.

Shooting struggles would once again plague the Lady Spartans. Only able to connect on 10/37 first half FG's, CNCC would find itself down 40-28 heading into halftime.
Second half action would see CNCC once again try to mount comebacks, cutting Westerns lead to under 10 points three times throughout the 3rd and 4th quarters. Western would be able to withstand CNCC's blows, ending in a loss for the lady Spartans with a final score of 76-60.

The loss drops CNCC to a 2-6 record overall. The Lady Spartans were led in this game by Jada Moss (16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals), Mckleigh Begaye (11 points, 3 rebounds), and Kaley Woodruff (11 points, 3 steals).


CNCC will be back home in Hefley Gym on Tuesday (02/16) to continue Scenic West play against the newly formed College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Coyotes. Tip-off is 5pm MT.
