RANGELY, Colo. (October 9, 2021) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College Volleyball team lost a road decision to a nationally-ranked foe last week.

The Lady Spartans fell in a 3-0 decision to USU Eastern last week in Price, losing by set scores of 6-25, 12-25, 15-25. The loss drops CNCC to 0-16 overall and 0-5 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play. 

Marissa Coney led Colorado Northwestern with seven kills, while Claudia Schuurmans posted nine digs. Brenna Reagan finished with 11 assists. 

Colorado Northwestern will host a pair of matches inside Hefley Gym this week, hosting Snow College on Thursday in a '90's Night' promotion. Saturday's match against Southern Nevada will be a 'Pink Night' promotion.
