RANGELY, Colo. (January 24, 2020) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College women's basketball team had its ups-and-downs throughout the early part of the Scenic West Athletic Conference season.

As the Lady Spartans prepare to enter the second part of the league season, CNCC is aware of areas for improvement after an 0-4 start and is also aware of how little improvements could make a big difference throughout the rest of the league season. CNCC will have a chance to enter the second part of the league schedule on Saturday, hosting undefeated Salt Lake Community College.

Sherryl Klosterman said her team has used time off since last Saturday in preparation for the game.

SLCC enters the second matchup of the season with a perfect 4-0 mark in league play, part of an overall campaign that is now up to 15-4 overall. SLCC is on a 13-game winning streak and defeated CNCC earlier this season in the league opener, earning a 76-25 league win on Jan. 4.

Colorado Northwestern and Salt Lake will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in Hefley Gym in Rangely.Â
