RANGELY, Colo. (December 6, 2019) - A layoff over the Thanksgiving holidays did the Colorado Northwestern Community College women's basketball team a great deal of good.

The Lady Spartans picked up their first victory of the 2019-20 season Friday, earning a hard-fought 68-65 win over Air Force Prep. The win kick starts a weekend of tournament action in Colorado Springs, fresh off a solid week of preparation for CNCC. 

Colorado Northwestern will play the Colorado Springs Ballers on Saturday, facing off against the club team inside the Air Force Academy Fitness and Sports Center. The game is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. start.
