RANGELY, Colo. (November 2, 2019) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College volleyball team suffered a tough defeat in its final match of the regular season.

Playing at nationally-ranked Snow College, the Lady Spartans suffered a 3-1 loss to the Badgers, falling by set scores of 12-25, 13-25, 26-24, 13-25. The loss drops CNCC to 5-18 overall and 2-8 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
After falling in the first two sets, Colorado Northwestern broke a 16-16 tie in the third set and went on to take a 24-21 lead. Snow came back to tie the set at 24-24Â but a
Brilynd Pence kill ended the third set.Â
Pence finished with a team-high 15 kills on the day.
Izzy Stille led the team with 16 assists. A key stat in the game was CNCC's 21 errors.Â

Colorado Northwestern will play as the No. 5 seed in the upcoming Region 18 tournament, which is scheduled to be played on Nov. 8-9 at Snow College. The No.5 seed will play the No. 4 seed in a match at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.Â
