Brilynd Pence was born in Oakland, California. However moved to Buena Vista, Colorado 12 years ago where she has spent the majority of her life. Growing up at the base of the Collegiate Peaks created a love for the outdoors through hiking, fishing, rafting, and horseback riding. Her father, Brian, and brother, Geddy, have always pushed her to reach her highest potential. Throughout her career at Buena Vista High School she was named All-Conference three times, nominated for CCGS All-State games and All-State First Team, and was awarded Tri-Peaks League player of the year. In addition to athletics, Brilynd is pursuing a degree in the nursing field. After her studies at Colorado Northwestern she plans to transfer into a four year University where she will complete the rest of her studies and accomplish her goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
