RANGELY, Colo. (November 16, 2019) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College women's basketball team suffered a preseason loss Saturday.

The Lady Spartans suffered a 66-58 loss to Dawson Community College in a preseason tournament game in Wyoming Saturday. The loss drops CNCC to 0-8 overall.

Colorado Northwestern had an outstanding game offensively, finishing with a shooting percentage of .514. CNCC also hit 18-of-25 free throws. Courtney Freeman scored 18 points, while Dani Russo and Talia Afuvai finished with 8 points.

CNCC is scheduled to play in a three-game tournament in Colorado starting Thursday, beginning with a game against Western Texas on Thursday.
