RANGELY, Colo. (November 15, 2019) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College women's basketball team fell in a preseason tournament game Friday.
 
Facing off against Williston State College, the Lady Spartans fell in a 71-62 decision. The loss drops CNCC's overall record to 0-8.
 
Williston opened up a 29-22 lead at halftime before the Lady Tetons went on a 28-20 run in the third quarter to open a big lead. The Lady Spartans shot just 36.8 percent in the game, hitting just 1-of-12 shots from three-point range. 

Courtney Freeman led CNCC with 16 points, while Michaela Ladage finished with 10 points. Dani Russo contributed 9 points. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will play Dawson Community College at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
