RANGELY, Colo. (October 10, 2019) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College volleyball team is becoming well-acquainted with playing nationally-competitive programs this week.
After playing Western Wyoming Community College, who is receiving national votes, earlier this week in a non-conference match, the Lady Spartans hosted No. 6 Snow College in a Scenic West Athletic Conference match at Hefley Gym Thursday. Unfortunately for CNCC, the nationally-ranked Badgers held serve and downed the host team by a marging of 3-0 (15-24, 14-25, 13-25). The loss drops CNCC to 3-14 overall and 0-4 in Scenic West play.Â
Brilynd Pence led CNCC with 7 kills in the loss.
Maddie Schneider had a team-high 6 assists and
Braedyn Peters finished with 10 digs.Â
Colorado Northwestern will host the College of Southern Nevada in a Scenic West match on Saturday in the program's annual 'Kids Day' promotion. The match is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.Â
