This year two men's basketball players received awards at our Honors Banquet. This is a high honor as men's basketball will look to increase the number of awards next year. 

David Riley received the Scholar Athlete award. This recipient was said to demonstrate high academic achievements, while displaying community involvement and leadership. David maintains a 4.0 GPA and is currently the team captain. He is a great leader on and off the court. He is always engaged at all of our fundraisers and community projects.

Greg Martin was our second student-athlete to receive an award. Greg is a part of Residence Life as an RA (resident assistant) and was recognized for his hard work and dedication. Greg dedicates lots of time to his responsibilities outside of basketball and still finds time for basketball. His time management skills are tested this year because he is also an ambassador for the college.

We commend these young men for their great accomplishments and as a program we are eager to see what kind of young men they grow into.
