Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Casey Quiggle, also known as "Quiggs," as the new Head Volleyball Coach for the Spartan volleyball program.
Coach Quiggs brings a wealth of coaching experience to CNCC, with a career spanning over 18Â years at various levels of competition. Hailing from San Clemente, California, Coach Quiggs began his coaching journey in 2004 at the high school level before transitioning to collegiate coaching after completing his Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration in 2017.
Prior to joining CNCC, Coach Quiggs spent two successful seasons as the Head Coach at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. His collegiate coaching experience also includes stints as an Assistant at the University of Jamestown in North Dakota and as the Head Coach at Southwestern Community College in Iowa and Sheridan College in Wyoming.
During his coaching tenure, Coach Quiggs has achieved remarkable success, guiding teams to multiple championships and playoff appearances. At Aliso Niguel High School in California, he played a pivotal role in leading the ladies' program to three consecutive Seaview League Championships and one CIF (SS) Championship. His coaching prowess was further demonstrated at Jamestown, where he was part of the program's historic season, culminating in a 15th-place finish in the nation.
Coach Quiggs holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Central College in Pella, Iowa, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Master's degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University - Irvine. With over 40 years of involvement in competitive athletics, including playing three sports at the collegiate level, Coach Quiggs brings a unique perspective and wealth of knowledge to the CNCC volleyball program.
Excited about his new role at CNCC, Coach Quiggs is eager to lead the Spartan volleyball program to new heights both on and off the court. Alongside his wife Brianne and their dog Cash, Coach Quiggs is enthusiastic about joining the Spartan family and contributing to the holistic development of student-athletes.
In his own words, Coach Quiggs expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I'm excited to be a part of the Spartan family. My goal is to not only coach these young women to excellence on the court but to coach them in a way that they will excel in all aspects of their lives. I've been fortunate to have had a few transformational coaches throughout my years in athletics and hope to be the same for the Spartan student-athletes."
