Box Score RANGELY, Colo. (February 8, 2023) – For the second consecutive evening, the Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team posted a dominant road win.
 
Playing its second game in a three games-in-three days series with Community Christian College, the Lady Spartans posted a dominant 76-54 win over CCC. The victory lifts CNCC to 7-15 overall and 3-10 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
 
It was Community Christian who controlled the game's momentum for most of the first half, holding a 38-33 advantage at halftime. The second half was a different story though, with CNCC outscoring the Lady Crusaders, 43-16, to roll to the victory. Colorado Northwestern's defense limited the Lady Crusaders to just 5-of-26 shooting in the second half.
 
Jessie Ford led Colorado Northwestern with 24 points, going 7-of-12 from the field. Eva Kingston posted a double-double of 17 points and 17 rebounds, while Madison Thomas and Carolynn Washington both posted 14 points each.
 
Colorado Northwestern will close the CCC series with another game Thursday, then will travel to play at Southern Nevada on Saturday.
