Box Score 2 RANGELY, Colo. (January 7, 2023) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team performed well in a pair of competitive Scenic West Athletic Conference losses this week.

CNCC fell in a pair of Scenic West road games, dropping an 89-51 decision at USU Eastern on Wednesday. The Lady Spartans then lost 89-49 at Southern Idaho Saturday. Colorado Northwestern is now 4-9 overall and 0-4 in Scenic West play after the losses.

Colorado Northwestern will return home for a pair of games against the College of Southern Nevada on January 18 and 19.Â

USU Eastern 89, Colorado Northwestern 51: A spirited start by the Lady Spartans didn't hold up as USU Eastern went on to the win.

Colorado Northwestern shot just 31.1 percent from the field, going just 2-of-14 from the field in the loss.

Southern Idaho 89, Colorado Northwestern 49: CNCC held tough early before Southern Idaho turned on the jets to earn the league win.

After CNCC narrowly trailed 21-16 after the first quarter, Southern Idaho jumped out to a 45-25 lead and never looked back in the dominant win. CNCC shot just 31 percent in the game.

Eva Kingston led CNCC with 14 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds.
Jessie Ford contributed 12 points and 7 rebounds.
