Box Score RANGELY, Colo. (January 21, 2023) – Playing three games in a week is never easy, particularly when ending the week with a nationally ranked opponent. 
 
The Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team experienced that very challenge Saturday, traveling to play at No. 7 Southern Idaho. CNCC dropped a 99-60 decision to fall to 0-2 against the Lady Golden Eagles this season, with the Lady Spartans falling to 5-11 overall.
 
Colorado Northwestern started well, holding an early lead before CSI went on an impressive run that led to a 54-26 halftime lead. Eva Kingston led the Lady Spartans with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
 
Other notable scorers for CNCC included Hailey Long (14 points) and Carolynn Washington (13 points). Amana Malki finished with 10 points. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will host Salt Lake and Snow in games at Hefley Gym next week.
