Colorado Northwestern came to play Saturday morning in Phoenix Arizona. The Spartans beat the Pumas 11-4. Abraham Arroyo singled in the third inning and Cade Butterfield hit a 2-run homerun in the inning for the Spartans. Abraham Arroyo continued the Spartan scoring by hitting a homerun in the sixth inning. Colorado Northwestern added five runs that inning with Peyton Wilson and Ryder Christensen driving in runs along with Arroyo. Andrew Kim took the win for the Spartans. The righthander surrendered three runs on five hits over four innings, striking out three and walking one. Taylor Cotts and Rodrigo Sanchez entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close the game in relief.
