Box Score RANGELY, Colo. (November 28, 2022) – A non-conference tournament in Wyoming ended with a tough loss for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team.
 
CNCC fell in a 60-49 loss to Lamar Community College, falling to 0-2 in Laramie County Community College's tournament. The Lady Spartans are now 2-5 overall with the loss.
 
Defense reigned supreme in the game for both teams, with CNCC holding Lamar to just 28.8 percent shooting. The Lady Spartans also forced 23 Lamar turnovers.
 
Sofia Mokofisi led CNCC with 10 points, while Hailey Long scored 9 points in the loss. Jessie Ford and Amana Malki finished with 6 points each. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will play in a preseason tournament hosted by Salt Lake this weekend.
