RANGELY, Colo. (October 19, 2022) – There is a light weekend of competition for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Athletic Department this week.
CNCC Men's-and-Women's Soccer will host a pair of matches on Saturday against Truckee Meadows, while the Lady Spartans Volleyball program will play three matches in the week.

Soccer: Both Colorado Northwestern Men's-and-Women's Soccer programs will see their seasons end this week, with the program's hosting Truckee Meadows in the season finales on Saturday.
The CNCC Women's program is currently in fifth place just behind Truckee Meadows for the final spot in the Region 18 tournament, while the CNCC Men's program has been mathematically eliminated.
Volleyball: The CNCC Volleyball team is trying to make a late run in the season to enter the upcoming Region 18 tournament.
Colorado Northwestern will play three matches this week, facing off against Snow College on the road, then traveling on to play a doubleheader at Southern Nevada on Saturday. CNCC is currently three games behind Southern Idaho, who is in the fourth spot for the tournament seedings.

Melissa Hardman said she is looking forward to seeing how her team stacks up against this week's competition.
"It will be tough competition for us," she said. "However, I believe if we pay attention to the small details and come ready, we will compete with both teams."
