RANGELY, Colo. (April 10, 2021) – A tough day at the plate saw the Colorado Northwestern Community College softball team fall in a road doubleheader Saturday.
 
The Lady Spartans dropped a pair of games with No. 2 Salt Lake Community College, losing by scores of 22-6 and 16-1. CNCC is now 0-30 overall and 0-20 in Scenic West play.
 
Highlight plays from the first game included a Shelby Blake grand-slam home run. Sam Ferris had an RBI in the second game on a fielder's choice, with Kellsie Ramos going 2-of-2 in the run-rule loss. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will host USU Eastern next weekend.
