RANGELY, Colo. (March 26, 2021) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College volleyball team fell in its Scenic West Athletic Conference regular-season finale Friday, losing to a nationally-ranked foe.
 
The Lady Spartans dropped to No. 3 USU Eastern by a score of 3-0, losing set scores of 15-25, 13-25, 9-25. The losses drop Colorado Northwestern to 5-15 overall and 1-9 in Scenic West play. 
 
Amerivelle Pena had a team-high five kills, while Peanut Dryden had 15 digs. Aliyah Hernandez had 9 assists. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will play next in the Region 18 tournament, which is scheduled to begin on Thursday at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield, Utah.
