RANGELY, Colo. (February 4, 2021) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College men's basketball team fell in its final game of the preseason Thursday.

The Spartans, playing on the road at Western Wyoming Community College, lost an 83-72 decision. The loss drops CNCC to 0-2 in its short preseason.

CNCC led by three points at halftime and had a 12-point lead midway through the second half. Unfortunately, it was Western Wyoming who finished the game with a flurry of momentum on the way to the win. 

Colorado Northwestern will play a weekend road series at the College of Southern Idaho, beginning play with a game against California Christian Friday. CNCC start Scenic West Athletic Conference play on Tuesday, starting conference season at USU Eastern on Tuesday.
