Playing No. 20 Salt Lake Community College, the Spartans lost in a 99-74Â decision to the Bruins. CNCC is now 3-20 overall and 1-4 in Scenic West play.

Salt Lake jumped out to an early lead, which CNCC wasn't able to recover from. The Spartans' defense did force 20 SLCC turnovers though, while limited the Bruins to a three-point shooting percentage of 34.8 percent.
Rhaven Brown scored a team-high 13 points, while Javonte Wyllie and
Azarien Stephens posted 12 points.
Matthew Hamilton finished with 9 points off the bench.Â

Colorado Northwestern will take to the road next week for games against Southern Idaho and USU Eastern. CNCC will return home on February 13 for a game against Southern Idaho.Â
