RANGELY, Colo. (December 23, 2019) - The holidays may be coming but so is the resumption of the 2019-20 season for the Colorado Northwestern Community College men's basketball team.

The Spartans will travel to the warmth of the Mojave Desert for a tournament hosted by Pima Community College on Saturday through Monday. Colorado Northwestern will play a trio of games in the tournament, which serves as the final tuneup before Scenic West Athletic Conference play begins.

The first game on Saturday will take place against Central Arizona, while Sunday's game will be against Cochise College. CNCC will play host Pima Community College on Monday in the tournament conclusion.

Colorado Northwestern will open Scenic West play on January 4 against Salt Lake Community College. CNCC's next home game is scheduled for Jan. 11 against the College of Southern Idaho.
