RANGELY, Colo. (October 23, 2019) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College volleyball team will have a tall task awaiting it this week in Scenic West play.
Yes, CNCC will be facing a team it has frequently played but the Lady Spartans will have a tough task as they play off against No. 12 USU Eastern in a Scenic West regular-season match. CNCC has just two matches after this weekend, leaving the team with just a few opportunities left before the Region 18 tournament.

Ashley Bryant said her team is excited about the upcoming opportunities.
"After many improvements, teamwork showed this past weekend, and after a couple days of rest, the girls are ready to build on the past weekend's successes and see the hard work that they have put in pay off," she said." "They are really putting all of the components for success together to peak at the right time."
USU Eastern has done well throughout the season, holding a record of 24-7 overall and 5-2 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference coming into the match. In their previous matchup, the Eagles earned a 3-0 win over CNCC.
Colorado Northwestern will play at USU Eastern at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. CNCC will close the season on the road, playing at Southern Nevada on Halloween.
