There is excitement in the air with Colorado Northwestern Community College Softball. Head Softball Coach
Ken DeCook proudly announced that 14 student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play NJCAA Division 1 college softball for the Spartans.
DeCook stated, "We have recruited quality students that are very good softball players." He goes on to mention, "these young ladies are from all over the United States and are some of the best softball players available to us. Each of these players have the potential to make a difference in a game. Â We are thrilled to welcome each one to the CNCC Spartan family."

In addition to these 14 freshman players DeCook and CNCC will have 4 players returning from the 2017-2018 team. DeCook points out, "I expect big things from these 4 players. They have experienced playing in one of the toughest softball regions in the country so they will set the tone for the entire team. Their sophomore leadership coupled with their playing experience will win us some ball games."
