RANGELY, Colo. (January 21, 2023) – A Scenic West Athletic Conference road game did not go the way of the Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team Saturday.
 
CNCC dropped a 113-49 decision at No. 2 Southern Idaho, falling to 0-2 against the Golden Eagles this season. Colorado Northwestern is now 2-16 overall and 0-7 in Scenic West games with the loss.
 
Southern Idaho started fast and never looked back in the game, leading 52-22 at halftime. Knowledge Ruben led the Spartans with 11 points, while Tommy Huynh had 9 points. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will host a pair of games inside Hefley Gym next week, hosting No. 4 Salt Lake on Wednesday. The Spartans will host Snow College on Saturday.
