RANGELY, Colo. (September 19, 2022) - The opening of Scenic West Athletic Conference play awaits one of the Colorado Northwestern Community College teams this week.
 
CNCC Volleyball will open Scenic West play with a match against USU Eastern on Wednesday. CNCC Soccer will play a pair of road matches, playing at Snow College and Truckee Meadows.

Soccer: After a weekend of tough results, CNCC Soccer will travel to play a pair of matches on the road.
 
Colorado Northwestern will play matches at Snow College and Truckee Meadows, traveling the distance for the Scenic West matches. CNCC's next home match is scheduled for October 8 against Southern Nevada. 
 
Volleyball: The start of Scenic West Athletic Conference play is finally here for the CNCC Volleyball team.
 
The Lady Spartans will play host to No. 6 USU Eastern Wednesday, opening up a league schedule that will feature matches against some of the nation's top programs. CNCC will play its first three league matches at home.
 
Colorado Northwestern coach Melissa Hardman said her team is looking forward to finally playing Scenic West teams.
 
"This team's mindset is getting stronger and more confident," she said. "Our defense is strong, and we continue to do great things for us on that side of the ball. Our next step is to become stronger at the net."
