Box Score RANGELY, Colo. (September 10, 2022) - Some losses feel a little different than others.
 
The Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Soccer program has been a program on the build for several seasons, with the Lady Spartans making strides that haven't always shown up on the field. Saturday, CNCC held the No. 4 team in the nation to a stalemate for almost 90 minutes, falling late to Salt Lake Community College.
 
The Lady Spartans dropped a 1-0 match to the Bruins, barely falling short against a SLCC team that is expected to be an NJCAA national contender. CNCC is now 2-4-1 overall and 1-1-1 in Scenic West contests.
 
The Lady Spartans will return to play next Saturday, hosting regional rival USU Eastern at Rangely High School.
