RANGELY, Colo. (August 26, 2022) – A non-conference match went the way of the Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Soccer team Friday; some might even say it went a historic way for the Lady Spartans.
 
CNCC earned its first victory in program history, garnering a 1-0 victory over Northwest College in a match played at USU Eastern. The Lady Spartans are now 1-1 overall.

It was Sydney Worthington who posted the historic goal for Colorado Northwestern, scoring on a Melissa Zavala assist. The victory helps CNCC start a two-match tournament at 1-1. 
 
CNCC will face off against Casper College on Sunday in Price, Utah.
