Box Score RANGELY, Colo. (August 24, 2022) - The 2022 debut for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Soccer program ended in disappointment Wednesday.
 
CNCC dropped a 1-0 decision to Central Wyoming in the season opener, a match that also marked the program debut for new Lady Spartans coach Eldon Brough. Colorado Northwestern is now 0-1.
 
In a low-scoring affair, Central Wyoming's lone score came in the 78^th minute. CNCC goalkeeper Emma Swain made four saves in the loss.
 
The Lady Spartans will travel to Price, Utah for a pair of non-conference matches this weekend. CNCC will play Northwest College on Friday, then will battle against Casper College on Sunday.
