RANGELY, Colo. (March 14, 2022) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College Softball team had a rough-go in a Monday doubleheader.

CNCC traveled to play longtime Scenic West Athletic Conference power Salt Lake, opening a four-game series that was rescheduled due to inclement weather over the weekend. The Lady Spartans were swept in the day's action, falling 8-1 and 14-0 in a pair of games. Colorado Northwestern is now 0-16 overall and 0-6 in Scenic West play.

Jazmyn Gilliam posted an RBI single in the day's first game for CNCC, proving to be the lone highlight for the Lady Spartans. CNCC mustered just two hits in a game two loss.

CNCC and Salt Lake will play another doubleheader on Tuesday.
