RANGELY, Colo. (November 28, 2022) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team suffered a pair of tough losses in a non-conference tournament over the Thanksgiving holiday.
 
CNCC dropped a pair of games in a tournament hosted by the College of Southern Idaho, falling 91-73 to Dawson Community College in the opening game of the tournament Friday. The Spartans then lost a 79-67 decision to McCook Community College Saturday, dropping to 1-8 overall.
 
Isaiah West scored 17 points to lead CNCC in the McCook loss, with Khalfani Cason contributing 12 points. Donovan Maestas had a 4-of-7 performance from three-point range in the loss to Dawson, finishing with 16 points. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will play a game against Utah Peaks Prep Saturday.
