RANGELY, Colo. (January 28, 2022) - The 2022 season is officially underway for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Softball team.

CNCC opened its season playing in the College of Southern Nevada's 'CSN Kickoff Classic', falling in a trio of games Friday, The Lady Spartans opened the season with a close 9-6 loss to Northeastern, followed up by an ever-closer defeat at the hands of South Mountain, 9-7. CNCC dropped a 20-5 decision to Trinidad State in the final game of the day.

Colorado Northwestern will play another doubleheader in the tournament Saturday.
