RANGELY, Colo. – The Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) women's soccer team lit up the scoreboard on Thursday afternoon, cruising to a commanding 9-1 win over Truckee Meadows Community College at the Bud Striegel Family Soccer Field.
The Spartans wasted no time setting the tone. Allee Williams opened the scoring in the 17th minute, assisted by Ashlee Harris, before Amelia Warner doubled the lead just before halftime off another Williams setup.
The second half belonged to the Spartans' attack. Lilly Wittwer scored back-to-back goals in the 46th and 47th minutes, both assisted by Harris, to stretch the lead to 4-0. After Truckee Meadows pulled one back, CNCC responded with five unanswered goals to seal the victory.
Wittwer finished the match with a hat trick and two assists, while Peyton Smith also netted a hat trick, scoring three times in the final 45 minutes. Williams tallied one goal and three assists, Harris added three assists, and freshman London Garner and Warner each found the back of the net .
Goalkeeper Jasmine Hernandez made four saves to anchor the Spartan defense, while CNCC outshot Truckee Meadows 24-8 overall .
With the win, CNCC improves to 3-4 overall (1-3 SWAC), showcasing the explosive potential of its offense as Scenic West Athletic Conference play heats up.

The Spartans return to action on Saturday, September 20, when they host College of Southern Idaho at the Bud Striegel Family Soccer Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
