RANGELY, Colo. (February 4, 2023) – The final home game before a two-week road trip did not go well for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team.
 
Playing against Salt Lake Community College, the Lady Spartans slipped to 0-3 against the Bruins as they dropped an 83-63 decision in the game. CNCC is now 5-15 overall and 1-10 in Scenic West play.
 
Colorado Northwestern started fast, holding a 23-21 first quarter lead after shooting 5-of-9 from three-point range. Unfortunately, CNCC's offense cooled from there as Salt Lake took a 41-32 lead at halftime, never looking back.
 
Jessie Ford led CNCC with 18 points, while Eva Kingston scored 14 points. Hailey Long posted 13 points. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will open a three-game road trip at Community Christian Tuesday.
