RANGELY, Colo. (January 25, 2023) – A loss to one of the NJCAA's best programs was the story in Wednesday's Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball game.
 
CNCC dropped a 98-67 decision to No. 4 Salt Lake Community College, falling to 0-2 against SLCC this season. The Spartans are 2-17 overall and 0-8 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
 
Colorado Northwestern fell behind early and never recovered, trailing 50-32 at halftime. The Spartans were led by Khalfani Cason, who finished with 18 points. Knowledge Ruben had 15 points, while Tommy Huynh had 10 points.
 
Colorado Northwestern will play host to Snow College on Saturday.
