RANGELY, Colo. (January 28, 2023) – A Saturday home game in the Scenic West Athletic Conference did not go well for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team.
 
Hosting Snow College, CNCC dropped an 87-63 decision to the Badgers, falling to 2-18 overall and 0-9 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference. The Spartans were 0-2 in a week's worth of games against longtime Scenic West powers, facing Salt Lake and Snow.
 
Snow took control from the start, never trailing and holding a 39-19 lead at halftime. The Spartans shot just 32.3 percent in the game, committing 16 turnovers.
 
Makail Cotto led Colorado Northwestern with 17 points. Pablo Torres and Tommy Huynh both scored 10 points each.
 
Colorado Northwestern will host both USU Eastern and Salt Lake in home games next week.
