RANGELY, Colo. (January 19, 2023) – The second game in a back-to-back is always tougher.
 
There is fatigue; there is the quick preparations. Those factors can loom large, and did in a matchup between the Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team and visiting Southern Nevada. An evening after falling, CSN enacted a measure of revenge against the Lady Spartans, earning a 67-56 win over Colorado Northwestern.
 
CNCC struggled offensively throughout the game, shooting just 27.5 percent and going only 9-of-33 from three-point range. While Colorado Northwestern's perimeter defense was strong, holding Southern Nevada to just 7-of-24 shooting in the second half, CNCC couldn't recover after losing momentum early.
 
Eva Kingston led the Lady Spartans with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Aurelia Lowe posted 12 points in the loss for CNCC. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will travel to play at No. 7 Southern Idaho on Saturday.
