RANGELY, Colo. (January 19, 2023) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team lost another competitive game to Southern Nevada Thursday.
 
Playing the second half of a back-to-back with CSN, the Spartans lost an 85-59  game to drop to 0-2 on the season against Southern Nevada. Colorado Northwestern is now 2-15 overall and 0-6 in Scenic West games with the loss.
 
CNCC and Southern Nevada both traded blows, figuratively, early in the game as the Spartans took a 27-26 lead with 5:21 remaining in the first half. From there though, CSN went on a 21-3 run to end the first half.
 
Pablo Torres led Colorado Northwestern with 15 points, while Tommy Huynh finished with 12 points. Makail Cotto scored 9 points off the bench. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will continue this weekend's play with a road game at No. 2 Southern Idaho.
