RANGELY, Colo. (January 18, 2023) – A three-game week opened in a tough loss for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team.

CNCC opened a back-to-back set with Southern Nevada Wednesday, falling in a 115-85 loss to the Coyotes. The Spartans are now 2-14 overall and 0-5 in Scenic West play.

Colorado Northwestern struggled defensively throughout the game, allowing CSN to shoot 61.2 percent from the field. Southern Nevada also held a 59-25 advantage in bench points.

Donovan Maestas had a standout performance for the Spartans, finishing with 20 points.
Tommy Huynh posted 18 points, going 4-of-7 from three-point range. Knowledge Rubin contributed 17 points off the bench.Â
