RANGELY, Colo. (February 12, 2022) – A game with a nationally-ranked foe ended in a loss for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team Saturday.

CNCC, playing host to No. 13 Southern Idaho, dropped a 92-50 decision inside Hefley Gym, falling to 0-3 against Southern Idaho this season. The Lady Spartans are now 8-16 overall and 3-11 in Scenic West Athletic Conference games.

Colorado Northwestern played well to start the game, narrowly trailing 16-15 after the first quarter. CSI's 24-3 run after the second quarter opened the game up, with CNCC struggling offensively throughout the game (29.2 percent shooting). The Lady Spartans also posted 17 turnovers in the loss.

Ashana Hinds posted 16 points for Colorado Northwestern, while
Krystal Benally finished with 11 points.
Aiesha Feagins had 8 points.Â
