RANGELY, Colo. (February 12, 2022) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team lost its second Scenic West Athletic Conference home game this week, falling again to a nationally-ranked program in a competitive game.
The Spartans dropped a 100-86 decision to No. 23 Southern Idaho, falling behind early and never recovering in the loss. Colorado Northwestern is now 6-19 overall and 3-13 in Scenic West play.
After an early back-and-forth period, CSI took a lead it never relinquished midway through the first half.
Trevon Cason had a highlight performance for the Spartans, posting 31 points and 8 rebounds.
Nahsyah Bolar scored 21 points, while
Dom Rivas finished with 17 points.
Colorado Northwestern will play next on Tuesday, hosting USU Eastern.
