Lady Spartans downed by Snow College

RANGELY, Colo. (February 10, 2022) – A Scenic West Athletic Conference home game did not go the way of the Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team on Thursday.
 
The Lady Spartans dropped a 65-30 decision to Snow College inside Hefley Gym, falling to 0-3 on the season against the Lady Badgers. The loss drops CNCC to 8-15 overall and 3-10 in Scenic West play.
 
CNCC led only in the early minutes of the game, with Snow taking a 40-21 lead at halftime. The Lady Badgers created the biggest distance in the third quarter, outscoring CNCC 14-2. Colorado Northwestern committed 21 turnovers in the loss.
 
Ashana Hinds and Rebecca Fraley both scored 6 points, while Aiesha Feagins finished with 5 points. Krystal Benally, Chyenne Palmore and Mya Murdock all finished with 3 points each. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will host No. 13 Southern Idaho on Saturday.
