RANGELY, Colo. (December 3, 2022) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team had an impressive victory Saturday. 
 
CNCC rolled to an 87-55 win over Utah Peaks Prep, never trailing in the game. The Spartans took a 41-33 lead at halftime and never looked back, moving to 2-8.
 
Colorado Northwestern's defense was dominant, holding Utah Peaks to 27 percent shooting. Utah Peaks also only went 9-of-38 from three-point range. CNCC powered also in the paint, scoring 46 points-in-the-paint in the win.
 
Kevin Bedford led the Spartans with 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting, while Khalfani Cason finished with 15 points. Pablo Torres and Davian Bryant both finished with 14 points each.
 
Colorado Northwestern will host Central Wyoming on Wednesday.
