RANGELY, Colo. (January 21, 2022) – In the midst of a challenging stretch of scheduling, the Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team fell in a home game Friday.
CNCC lost a decision to Community Christian, rolling to a 1-1 mark against CCC in consecutive nights. The Spartans are now 5-12 overall and 3-7 in Scenic West play.
Colorado Northwestern took a 36-32 halftime lead, with the Spartans limiting Community Christian to just 30.7 percent shooting in the first half (12-of-39). CNCC led by as many as eight points in the second half, taking a 44-36 lead with 15:55 on the clock. From there, CCC powered to a 66-56 lead midway through the second half.
Trevon Cason led CNCC with 21 points, while
Nahsyah Bolar and
Dom Rivas both scored 10 points. Kok Dow posted 8 points.
Colorado Northwestern will host the College of Southern Nevada on Saturday.
