RANGELY, Colo. (January 15, 2022) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team knew heading to play a nationally-ranked foe with shorthanded numbers would be a challenge.
 
In spite of the outcome, CNCC did not waiver in spite of having just six players make the trip in a 129-41 loss to No. 6 Southern Idaho. The loss drops the Lady Spartans to 6-11 overall and 1-6 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
 
Ashana Hinds finished with 14 points to lead Colorado Northwestern, while Adelyn Wells scored 8 points. Krystal Bennally posted 7 points and 10 rebounds. 
 
Colorado Northwestern is scheduled to host Community Christian College on Thursday, Jan. 20.
